In the final weeks of their training, Annie watches the military’s insane training regimen as Eren and Annie practise fighting. Later, Eren uses Annie’s approach to defeat Jean in an argument. The cadets weigh their options before picking which military regiment to join after graduation, and Eren’s speech persuades many of them to pick the Scouts. But the day after graduation, the Colossal Titan appears in Trost without warning.
The Graduates
Two years after they joined the Corps, Sadies leads Eren and the others deep into the woods while toting heavy equipment in torrential rain. Reiner snatches Armin’s backpack and tells him to move faster when he slips behind. Armin takes his pack back and tries to join up with the leading group after feeling bad about it.
